This kind of rivet is also known as compression rivet or rapid rivet, they are mostly made from steel die cut metal sheet.

They came in two pieces, female and male or stem and cap.

Female body changes from it´s head, it could be: oval, round, conical and steeple.

They could be also made in aluminum and brass sheet metal.

Size and measurements are as follows: #0, #33, #34, #34.5, #36, #37 and #4. From #0 to #36 can be produced with double head from each side.

Rapid rivets are often used to join leather goods like: School bags,hand bags, briefcase and luggage,pet straps, ornaments in clothing, denim and other textile applications. Compression rivets can be used to join or fasten soft materials as: Thin plastics,nylon,plastic glass paper and carton.

They are really easy to install, you just need to apply them with an adequate pressure to join the two pieces of material that has to be riveted.

We recommend you to use the correct tools for riveting in order to avoid possible damage on rivet head, remember that this rivets are made of thin metal sheet than the others that are made by wire cold forming process.

They can be ordered per thousand in different platings like: old copper, brass, zinc, nickel, painted ( minimum quantities apply).
